Der offizielle Einlass zu Socialism in Our Time beginnt am Samstag um 09:00 Uhr.

Die ersten Veranstaltungen beginnen pünktlich um 10:00 Uhr am Samstag, den 30.9.2023. Folge einfach den Schildern vor Ort.

︎Wie komme ich zur Konferenz?
Socialism in Our Time findet im Oyoun in Berlin-Neukölln nahe der U-Bahnstation Hermannplatz statt. Die genaue Adresse lautet: Lucy-Lameck-Straße 32, 12049 Berlin.
︎Was gibt es alles vor Ort?
Im Erdgeschoss vom Oyoun gibt es ein Café, draußen wartet ein sonniger Garten mit Tischen und Stühlen auf Dich, wo du auch unseren JACOBIN-Stand mit Magazinen, Kunstdrucken, Büchern von Transform und Brumaire und vielem mehr findest.

Wir erfragen das gerade bei den Location-Betreiber*innen.

︎Ich habe ein Ticket gekauft, muss ich etwas mitbringen?
Nein, sag einfach am Anmeldetisch im Oyoun Deinen Namen und Du bekommst von uns ein Einlassbändchen für die Teilnahme an der ganzen Konferenz.
︎Ich möchte zur Konferenz kommen. Gibts es noch Tickets?
Schau einfach im JACOBIN Shop nach, welche Tickets noch verfügbar sind.
︎Ich kann nicht kommen, kann ich das Ticket weiterverkaufen oder verschenken?
Ja, Du kannst Dein Ticket verschenken. Um reinzukommen, muss die glückliche Person am Anmeldetisch einfach nur Deinen Namen und die Emailadresse sagen, mit der Du das Ticket bestellst hast.
Wenn Du es verkaufen möchtest, kannst Du es in dieser Telegram-Gruppe versuchen, wo andere auf ein Ticket hoffen. Achtung: Wenn Du die Telegram-Gruppe betrittst, sind Dein Telegram-Name und Deine Telefonnummer für andere Personen in der Gruppe sichtbar.
︎Ich habe ein Ticket, aber kann nicht kommen. Gibt es die Möglichkeit einer Rückerstattung?
Wegen begrenzter Organisationskapazitäten können wir das nicht leisten. Du kannst es aber in der Telegram-Gruppe weiterverkaufen (siehe Frage darüber).
︎Ich habe jemandem ein Ticket abgekauft / eines geschenkt bekommen. Wie komme ich rein?
Sag einfach am Anmeldetisch den Namen und die Emailadresse, mit denen das Ticket gekauft wurde.
︎Gilt das Ticket für beide Tage?
Ja.
Verpflegung
︎Gibt es vor Ort Mittag- und Abendessen?
Im Oyoun gibt es Getränke und Snacks, leckeres Essen findest Du überall in den benachbarten Straßen. Wir hängen vor Ort eine Liste mit Empfehlungen für gutes und preiswertes Essen hin.
︎Kann ich Essen und Trinken mit ins Gebäude bringen?
Leider nein, das erlaubt der Location-Betreiber nicht und wir können daran nichts ändern.
Livestream
︎Gibt es einen Livestream vom Konferenz-Programm?
Nein.

Program
︎When do doors open, how can I register?
Doors open for Socialism in Our Time on Saturday, 30 September at 9:00.
︎When does the program start?
The first events will begin on time at 10:00 on Saturday, 39 September. Just follow the signs on-site.
Venue
︎How do I get to the conference?
Socialism in Our Time will take place at Oyoun in Berlin-Neukölln near the Hermannplatz metro station. The exact address is: Lucy-Lameck-Straße 32, 12049 Berlin.
︎What is available on site?
The first floor of Oyoun has a café with a sunny outdoor garden and plenty of tables and chairs. Here you will also find our Jacobin and transform! europe merchandise table selling magazines, art prints, books and more.
︎Is there free Wi-Fi?
We are currently trying to figure that out with the venue operators.
Tickets
︎I bought a ticket, do I need to bring anything?
No, just say your name at the registration table at Oyoun and we will give you an admission wristband to attend the whole conference.
︎I want to come to the conference. Are there still tickets available?
Just check the JACOBIN shop to see which tickets are still available.
︎I can’t come, can I resell my ticket or give it away?
Yes. If you want to give it away, the lucky person just needs to say your name and the email address you used to order the ticket at the registration table and they will get in. If you want to sell it, you can try this Telegram group where other people without tickets are waiting. Note: When you join the Telegram group, your Telegram name and phone number will be visible to other people in the group.
︎I have a ticket but can’t make it. Can I get a refund?
Due to limited organizational capacity, we can't provide that. But you can resell it in the Telegram group (see question before).
︎I bought a ticket from someone/got it as a gift. How do I get in?
Just say the name and email address with which the ticket was bought at the registration table.
︎Is the ticket valid for both days?
Yes.
Food
︎Is there food and drink available on site? what about lunch?
You can get drinks and snacks on-site at the Oyoun café. For lunch there are plenty of good restaurants and places to grab a quick bite near the venue, we will post a list of recommendations for good and inexpensive food on site.
︎Can I bring outside food and drink into the building?
Unfortunately not, this is not permitted by the operators of the venue and we can’t change that.

︎Will the conference be live-streamed?
Not this year.
